Wight Spirit day charter. The basic principle is that for dive sites within a 10 mile radius from the Needles Lighthouse the boat costs £360 per day based on 10 divers. From 10 to 20 miles radius from the Needles the price is £380 per day, over 20 and up to 30 miles from the Needles Lighthouse the price is £400 per day and over 30 miles up to 40 miles is £420 per day. Mid week, the boat will go with a minimum of 6 divers on a pro rata basis at £35 up to 10 miles etc, etc. What do you get for your money? For diving up to 20 mile limit, as many dives in a day as you want (within reason)! In practice this means the main dive on slack water, followed by sites (wreck or reef) where the tide is not a problem, and/or drift diving. For those diving deep offshore either on air or trimix, in practice this usually means one dive per day because of the depth of the dive and how long it takes to get there and back.
